Butterfly Knoll Lipizzans prides itself on breeding the finest Lipizzans for the sports of Dressage and Eventing (Combined Training). This noble, yet versatile breed is already known throughout the world as a quality Show Jumper and Dressage specialist. Butterfly Knoll seeks out pure and intact Austrian bloodlines, often directly from the Piber Stud Farm, for development and training in the equestrian triathlon of 3-Day Eventing.

One of Europe’s oldest and most storied breed, Lipizzans were always preferred as the premier mount for military horsemanship. The world’s first true eventers, they were developed in the crucible of war and carried the Royal Cavalry into battle. What better horse to face the grueling test of the 3-day event?

In February 2002, Butterfly Knoll Lipizzans came into being. With both indoor and outdoor riding arenas, 50’ round pen, and multiple pasture areas, the training, boarding, and breeding of Lipizzans is a delight to behold.
